2026/1/1 (Thu.): Friday prayer as usual tomorrow!

We hope that you are enjoying the new year holidays of Japan. Since it is not part of our Hijra calendar, we have no particular Islamic events. It will be a usual Friday tomowwor. We pray together three times on Friday noon these days, due the increasing number of attendance for Friday prayer. Tomorrow, we expect more attendance in a holiday season, so please be informed that we may pray Jum'a prayer four times.

Please come to the Masjid with your wudu to avoid crowdiness, though you can do your wudu at the mosque.

Sisters (Muslimahs) can pray Jum'a together, too. We apologize for the limited space for sisters, if that causes any inconvenience.

2025/12/27 (Sat.): Islamic Cultural Center will be closed from 12/28 (Sun.) to 2026/1/4 (Sun.)

Islamic Cultural Center, next to Kyoto Grand Mosque, will be closed from 12/28 (Sun.) to 2026/1/4 (Sun.). To visitors to the Mosque, the facilities of the Center will not be available. We are sorry for any incovenience. On 1/2 (Fri.), the Center will be open during Jum'a time, from 11:30 to 15:00. .

2025/12/26 (Friday.): A Japanese embraced in Islam

On December 26, before the Jum'a prayer, a Japanese man embraced in Islam, and the brothers who gathered earlier for the Jum'a prayer attended the Shahadah ceremony and acted as witnesses in the ceremony, and celebrated this new brother. Al-Hamdu li-Allah (SWT).

2025/12/26 (Friday.): The Jum'a prayer was duely conducted.

On December 26, the Jum'a prayer were conducted with three Jama'a prayers, with three Khutbahs, al-Hamdu li-Allah (SWT).
